hello, I am a 33year old woman with some sickle cell. For most of my adult life I have had thinning hair which has never really grown. I was not aware of my sickle cell status until 7years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I have never had a sickle crisis. I am now trying to finally face this and sort my hair issues out. I leant from a previous answered question below that I should see a Dermatologist. Can you advise on how I go about this. Can I seek to be referred via my GP or does it have to be done privately. If so can you recommend one in London. Thanks.
