Suggest Treatment For Severe Nausea, Constipation And Abdominal Bloating

I have been feeling upset to my stomach, nauseous , constipated feeling, heavy, bloated. I take the depo provea shot, 20 mg of prozzac. I smoke, but i eat healthy, I go to the gym and tan often. Could the tanning bed have something to do with it, what should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The symptoms are not likely related to the tanning. That would be more likely to cause skin related issues.

It may be related to a food that you use or severe reflux (though reflux would not cause constipation).

It would be best to look at your diet to see if the symptoms occur with certain foods. A food diary would help with this assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
