Hi: I had my left knee operated on to clean out some rubble about a year and a half ago. I am doing great. But, all of a sudden, I have a bubble on my knee. It feels like fluid. It does not hurt. Should I do something about this or ignore it since it does not hurt? Thank you, Linda Mannock
Most probably it will be due to conditions like osteoarthritis. As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
