Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe itchy red rash on the ankle. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like contact dermatitis , allergic reaction , discoid eczema , erythema nodosum or heat rash . Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to rashes , apply petroleum jelly , protect them from sun exposure and take antihistamine like benadryl twice a day . Avoid touching or pricking these rashes. If condition does not get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with corticosteroid ointment and antibiotics .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
