Hi,

Severe headaches can be debilitating and have a significant impact on daily life. It is important to work with your healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause of your headaches and develop an appropriate treatment plan. If you have already had two brain scans that did not show any significant abnormalities, it may be helpful to explore other potential causes of your headaches, such as tension headaches, cluster headaches, or sinus headaches. Your healthcare provider may recommend additional testing or refer you to a specialist, such as a neurologist or a headache specialist, for further evaluation.

In terms of treatment, over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen may provide some relief, but they may not be effective for severe headaches. Prescription medications like triptans or ergotamines may be more effective for migraine headaches, while muscle relaxants or antidepressants may be helpful for tension headaches. Lifestyle modifications such as stress reduction techniques, regular exercise, and adequate sleep may also be beneficial in managing headaches. It is important to work closely with your healthcare provider to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific symptoms and needs.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
