Suggest Treatment For Severe Hair Loss

hi, i an a 37 year old woman. The past few years i have been losing my hair. It comes out in handfuls. I had blood tests and results showed very low vitamin D, and i am currently taking 1000iu per day. Could vit d deficiency cause hair loss? I also take antihistamine due to urticaria. Could hair loss be a side effect? Many thanks for your time

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having some local scalp lesion like fungal infection, dandruff might have caused this problem.
Hypothyroid can also produce massive hair loss.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
go for treatment accordingly.
Ok and take care.
