Pulmonologist 's  Response
thanks for asking your question

chest pain can be due to inflammatory costochondritis that is teitz syndrome and increased cough is a part of flaring up of asthma

you need to consult a Pulmonologist for both the diseases who can start you on certain medications to relieve your symptoms

in my patients I usually start them on inhaled steroids and long acting beta 2 agonists for asthma as per international recommendations for asthma
regarding teitz syndrome I prefer to control symptoms by prescribing some analgesics , non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs and if needed local injections

thanks
