Suggest Treatment For Severe Acidity

How do I get rid of acid build up in the stomach ,does the 8 grains of rice remedy work.I drink alchohol (lagers) I recently tried to drink but developed deep pain in the stomach.Can you kindly advise on how to get rid of these pains,I have stopped alchohol for a moment though.

While I had gone through your query it seems to me that you are having gastric ulcer.

There are many things you need to avoid like spicy foods, citrus fruits, pickle and other acidic and chunk foods.
Avoid alcohol and start mild exercise.

Medically you can take any of proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole 40 mg empty stomach in morning.
Or Rentidene 300 mg during bed time.
