Suggest Treatment For Several Itchy Red Bumps On Thighs, Knees And Vagina
I have several red bumps on my inner thigh between my vagina and my knee. They feel like bruises but look like bug bites and are itchy. I don't think I have ingrown hairs- I have ingrown hairs before, this is different. There are also several that go around to my butt, although there are none on my vagina. There are a few that look like pimples- maybe puss filled- but a good amount of them don't look puss filled. What could this be?
Hello there, Please do not panic. This seems like an allergic reaction to some product or new garment that you wore if at all. Use some cold water as compresses to soothe the area. Are there any water filled cysts? Then is could be a viral infection. If not then this is just an allergy. It would be best to go to a physician who can examine you and confirm that its just an allergy and not any infection and accordingly suggest therapy. If I were to treat you I would suggest Applying lactocalamine lotion to the affected area alongwith Fexofenadine 180 mg once a day to control the allergy. Hope this helps. Take care.
