General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to renal stone. As size is 8.5 mm, you may require surgical intervention after urologist consultation. Keep yourself hydrated. You can take syp cital. For pain, you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
