Suggest Treatment For Redness, glossy And Burning In Eyes

My eyes get very red, glossy and burn - it almost feels like there is a fan blowing on them. These symptoms are the worst at the end if my 12 hr nursing shift. I don t know if it s from being tired or if it s from something else but I feel like it s very noticeable. I don t take any medications. Is there anything OTC you can recommend? I ve used visine sometimes but it does burn my eyes. I use it in the am before work and by the afternoon the symptoms start. Any advice would be great thanks!

what about discharge and itching. so it can be bacterial or allergic conjunctivitis thick discharge and light sensitivity then it can be bacterial. but itching with watery discharge may be allergic. for bacterial can start ofloxacin .3%drop 6hourly. it is contagious. it requires isolation. in allergic conjunctivitis you can take oral levocetrizine 5mgtblet daily. cromal eye drop can be applied 8hourly. it is Tobe examined by eye doctor and diagnose properly.
