Yesterday, my face turned blotchy and red. very itchy. tried benedryl but it seemed to make it worse. Woke up today with a swollen face and redness and again very itchy. sent my husband to get Claritin or zrytefc to bring down the swelling. Two weeks ago I had to see a doctor for a month long cough and had a milder reaction right in the dr's office but it went away in an hour. By the way the first time I went to the dr for the cough I was given prednisone. The second time I was given a Z pack. and more prednisone. could this be a reaction to either drug? Also had some peanuts both times but two days prior to this last reaction. Help?
