Suggest Treatment For Recurring Itchy Rashes All Over The Body

I have gotten a rash from a nursing home I work in. I do not believe it is scabies. I got it from a patient I was working with. The rash has been everywhere, except, palms of my hands, soles of my feet, face, scalp & genitals. It seems like bites of some sort. They will flare up in a location, irritate for a couple of days, then go away & reappear elsewhere. They are intensely itchy when I get under hot water in the shower. They are worse when the weather is warmer, and/or I am covered less. I have seen no signs of bugs, but my dogs are also very itchy (they sleep with me). The dogs did not have it first.
