Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 32 years female 5 6 and over weight 220. My pulse rate at resting is anywhere from 76-90 when up just doing daily activities it can reach up to some times 145 say after taking a shower. Doing dishes or just shopping can be in the high 125 s is this unsafe? I was just at the ER a week ago. I was wiping up the counters from dinner and got a chest pain then felt instantly hot then felt sick and instantly had diarrheaI thought I was really having a heart attack, they did an ekg, chest X-ray and drew blood work but stated I was fine. Another thing is after I arrived my pain then was all in my upper back too. I ve now been checking my pulse constantly since that happened, so I m wondering if anxiety my has something to do with my pulse rate now too because I ve now been so fear full since last week. Any info would be great. Thank u
hi, first of all, at ER if ECG was fine, you can have a deep breath and relax. second best thing I would advice is to go for some tests like, stress ECG ( trade mill test) and assessment of your thyroid functions... I suppose most of your problem's basic problem can be ruled out by it. meet your primary care physician for further help
