Suggest Treatment For Prostatomegaly

Regards. I ve been diagnosed with prostatomegaly with significant PVRU AND MILD HEPATOMEGALY with Grade 1 fatty liver during a routine scan. Although I don t have any problem, i want to know more about the conditions. NO MEDICINES FOR PROSTATOMEGALY WAS GIVEN. for fatty liver LIVOSTEP 150 (urodeqxycholic acid thice a day has been prescribed. please highlight and suggest remedies, if any. thanks

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Prostatomegaly can be treated with medications since there is no other complications in your case. You can consult Urologist and take medication such as Finastride. In case the enlargement causes urinary symptoms, you need to get the gland removed by surgery called Trans Urethral Resection of Prostate (TURP).
What medications you are taking for hepatomegaly with fatty liver seems alright. You need to avoid oily and fatty foods. Also you need to quit smoking and alcohol intake if you are addicted to.
