Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Crusted Scabies

I have a severe long time case of crusted scabies. I take 10 pills of ivermectin at a time , it eradicates some of them but then they seem to come back with a vengeance. should my amount of ivermectin be increased. also sal 3 soap seems to help. any sugesstions other than seeing a dermatologist would help. Thanks, by the way the perm and BB cream does nothing.

Hi,

Combination treatment regimens used include the use of topical agents such as permethrin 5% cream with oral ivermectin. Alberici et al . found that topical benzyl benzoate emulsion with oral Ivermectin was successful in severe crusted scabies. These applications are repeated till the mites are eradicated

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
