What Causes Crusted Scabies?

My sister and her family have Crusted scabies. They have been taking Ivermectim and Perithium. My neice sold her house. My sister got rid our all her furniture. They do everything.. she actually buys new clothes everyday so not to wear the same thing over. This is going on for 5 months. Nobody will help them.. she cries to me everyday. They don t want to live anymore... they are getting eaten to death.. Please help.. they need a doctor who doesn t treat them badly. they live on long Island, they all have insurance...

Please assure them that the condition is treatable. They should use antiscabetic like GBHC or Benzyl Benzoate in the prescribed manner every week while disinfecting all household linen by appropriate methods. all contacts should also be similarly treated to eliminate infection. If possible, arrange their consultation with dermatologist so that if needed steroids can be prescribed under supervision to help them recover fast. Please also ensure that they are not on antimetaboloite treatment, chemotherapy or having some condition where impressiveness have been prescribed.
