Suggest Treatment For Prickly Heat Eruptions Of The Body

Dear Dr, I am 39 yrs, I noticed some red prickly heat eruptions on my glans and at one place a small round peeling of skin, Off late i have observed lsome dirt in my glans which i have last seen at 15 yrs of age after that i regularly wash it daily with soap during bath

Hi.
As per your case history you are having fungal infection on glans called as balanitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't apply soap or any antiseptic lotion like Dettol on that part.
2. Apply a mild antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Start oral fluconazole 150mg once a week for 3 weeks.

Usually complete recovery is seen in 2-3 weeks.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.
