Suggest Treatment For Priapism

my name is matthew, two weeks ago i had a sudden case of priapism. i had an erection for 6 to eight hours before seeking medical attention. at ten hours the pain was intense and the e.r. doctor drained the erection from the upper right shaft area. since the procedure, my erections are only achieving about sixty to seventy-five percent of my usual full erection. my questions are, will I get my ability to achieve a full erection come back? are there any treatment options to help in recovery? what signs show permanent dysfunction, and how can I discern between a case of permanent E.D. as opposed to a temporary case?

Urologist 's  Response
Hello Matthew and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me assure you, that after treatment of priapism, your symptoms are well known.
Even the treating Urologist, would have told you about it.
It's difficult to predict about future course of erections, after an episode of priapism.
If you write to me about medication being taken by you, i will be able to give you better guidance about further management. You may contact me by sending a direct question. Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
