It seems that there might be having severe bacterial infection.
This can be due to pneumonia as well.
He has to remain in the hospital under expert supervision.
He might require IV higher antibiotic medicine clockwise.
Go for certain investigations like,
x-ray chest,
complete blood test with platelet count,
If require blood culture.
Ok and take care.
