Suggest Treatment For Pityriasis Rosea

I have pityriasis rosea and have been told by my family MD that there is nothing that can be done I am 2 months in and no sign of slowing down, it is taking over my life! For the past month I have been eating a raw vegan diet and juicing also taking oregano oil daily. Is there anything else at all that might help??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pityriasis rosea usually clears up in 8 to 10 weeks. I recommend using an over-the-counter topical medication such as calamine lotion or zinc oxide. I recommend using antihistamines for the itching such as Cetirizine 10 mg.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
