Suggest Treatment For Persistent Sore Throat, Dry Cough And Fatigue

I have a minor sore throat, dry cough, tireness and burning sensation in my stomach for ~ 3 weeks. The dry cough come and go. The stomach pain happens when I am hungry or right after I eat. I have seen my PCP and she said it may be related to allergy. The stomach pain perhaps is due to acid reflect. I am not a smoker and I don't drink alcohol.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent sore throat, dry cough and fatigue along with stomach pain which seems to be due to reflux of acidic contents in stomach and leading to burning sensation. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles and avoid oily and sharp food. Walk regularly before laying on bed and take small and frequent meals. You should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get endoscopy done along with throat swab test and blood tests and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Take proper course of antibiotics along with antacid medications. Drink plenty of fluids. Apply mist humidifiers in room.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
