Suggest Treatment For Persistent Dry Cough With Wheezing

my daughter 3 yrs old suffering from cough and cold,it started on 25th dec witha viral fever and laster for 10 days ,fever 2 days but cough for next 8 days trated with advent -2bottles and livolin.again on jan 25th cough cold and it was more of dry cough with no chest conjestion doc suggested citrizine and livolin and then in 5 days ear infection and mox antibiotic for 5 days the ear infection is over but still cough is persistent worse at night and with wheezing sound having zedex 3 times,voziline 2 times and moxtair 1 time...please suggest what to do getting very worried

Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that your daughter is having upper respiratory tract infection.

You can continue with the medicines prescribed by her Paediatrician.
You can discuss with her doctor for adding decongestant like phenylephrine for better relief.

If chest is clear, wheezing sound can be due to blocked nose.

Few drops of saline nasal drops can help to clear the nasal passage.
