Hello,

You are suffering from cough, nasal congestion and weakness. You have been treated for the symptoms but still have symptoms left. To get rid of the remaining congestion you are suggested to take plenty of water and fluids orally to thin out the mucus. Avoid too cold or too hot food, irrigate your sinus (nasal lavage) and nasal spray also helps to get rid of the symptoms. You can take decongestants for relieve. To get rid of weakness, take home made food that is nutritious and balanced, rich in iron, calcium, protein, etc.

You can also take supplements. Stay away from stress and take adequate rest & at least 8 hours sleep. Your symptoms should go away gradually. Stay away from addictions if any. If not you can take a repeat course of antibiotic (Augmentin). Get clinically examined by an ENT, get X-ray PNS done to detect any nasal deviation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
