Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Elbow Caused By Hitting

A couple of months ago I hit my inner elbow hard and expierenced tingling from elbow to my pinky and ring finger for about 1 hour. The pain gradually went away but I recently knocked it again and I expierenced the same tingling/cold feeling (not as severe) and my elbow ached. Again, I forgot about it until recently. The pain and tingling comes so often now and stays for half an hour until and hour. Also the knocks dont have to be as severe as it was initailly but I expierence the same pain. It is tender to touch and if you fiddle with it, I get pins and needles and an ache. Two days ago I went to the doctors and he did a few physical tests and came to the conclusion of Golfer's elbow. I have read up about Golfer's elbow and apparantley you get a shooting pain when you grip things or pick something up. I dont get a shooting pain. Also it didnt say anything about tender to touch and it says you need to massage it. But for me it hurts a lot even just to touch it. What could my injury be?
