My granddaughter hit her head on the concrete at the pool today. I took her to urgent care and they did a few exercises and said she seemed ok. Now she s complaining about pain all on the right side of her skull and pressure behind her eye should I take her in for a cats can?

Hello dear,
I understand your concerns.Your granddaughter seems to have got a mild head injury.I do not recommend at present to go for computerised tomographic (CT) scan as it is not indicated in head injuries which are not associated with loss of consciousnes. She can be given some non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAID) which have analgesic property as well, which will provide her relief and observe for a couple of days.Still,if no improvement occurs, you can consult your physician and go for a CT scan if he says so.I hope it helps.
