Hallow Dear,

I can appreciate your disappointment, particularly when you are so excited.

One fact is sure that unless the penis is fully turgid, it cannot enter a vagina. It is advisable to take the things rather patiently. Tell him not to hurry the insertion till he gets full erection. If he is finding it difficult to sustain the erection, he may try pubic ring which has to be fitted at the base of the penis to maintain the erection of penis. If he is not achieving any erection, he may try Viagra like preparations. If he is having any stress or apprehension of the first sexual intercourse, he may find erection difficult. Give him full confidence.

Forcible attempt to insert a non-erected placid penis is always painful and hurting as it gives pressure on the surrounding sensitive tissues.

I hope this helps you. For any detailed discussion and guidance on this issue, you may ask me Direct question by going to my profile.

Wishing you best luck,

Dr. Nishikant Shrotri
