Suggest Treatment For Pain Between Lower Ribs

I have bronchiectasis, not helped by stress related to domestic violence. I have developed an intermittent pain between lower ribs, which I thought was caused by gas as I burp when it is present. I am taking Mucodyne and two puffs morning and night of Ventolin. Wonder if Mucodyne might create gas?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
No, mucodyne can not cause gas and acidity.
In my opinion You may have infection in lung.
Bronchiectesis is chronic lung disease. And infection is the most common complication.
So infection causes pleural inflammation and cause pain.
So get done chest x ray to rule out this.
Burping can be due to GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease).
It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter.
Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up and cause burping.
So try to avoid hot and spicy food. Take proton pump inhibitor.
