Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In My Anterior Tibialis

I rolled my ankle and fell on some steps and hit my front side shin area, or my Anterior tibial. It swelled immediately and I put ice on it. It has been over 24 hours and still hurting and a bit swollen, should I continue to ice and not worry about it, or see a doctor?

Hi,

Since it is more than 24 hours and the swelling is persisting, you must visit a doctor to rule out bony injury.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Deepak Sundriyal,
Oncologist
