General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, there can be various disorders giving rise to neuropathic pain in foot as diabetes, peripheral vascular disease and others.

Biopsy is needed in very less number of patients and there are best modalities available for the diagnosis in recent medicines as nerve conduction study, MRI and else.

However, if you can provide me complete details of his work up, I can further guide in this instance for better management guidelines.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
