Hi I think aspirin is generally given in women with a history of repeated miscarriages. It is known to prevent that. Some give it empirically in patients who are at high risk of preeclampsia or is having some clotting disorder. Talk to your doctor regarding this and ask her for what purpose she has given this medicine. It is safe to take in pregnancy but there should be some valid indication. Hope it helps.
