Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Excessive Burps

I threw up last night out of my sleep. I woke up to a feeling in between having gas in my stomach to burp and being excessively hungry but before I could make it to the bathroom I threw up. Today I slept all day off and on with a cringing feeling in my stomach. Since I was scared to eat I decided to try cereal, but since then my stomach has been making weird loud noises. I need to know if its anything serious or something that ll go away on its own.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that your symptoms are due to gastritis which is inflammation of the stomach.

In some cases, this can be due to infection which would resolve after a few days.

The main aspects of treatment would be : (1) medications such as pepcid, zantac, nexium, prilosec, prevacid
One of these should help

(2)use only small amounts of food until you are sure you can tolerate it

I hope this helps
