Suggest Treatment For Myoclonic Jerks In Children
My son was diagonized with Infantile spasms when he was 3 months old. Now he is 4yrs old and suffers with myoclonic jerks. His development was assessed to be like a 6month old and he does not have control over his body. Neurologists I have consulted could not assess the reason what the reason is. Wanted to know if there is any cure at all for such diseases?

ACTH is the drug of choice,clobazam, clonazepam, nitrazepam,prednisolone, and sodium valproate may be used.
The cure depends on the underlying cause.
