Suggest Treatment For Multinodular Goiter

Hi I have a multinodular goiter, i do not have any hyper or hypothyroidism, just a very large goiter that is pressing on my trachea and I am having a total thyroidectomy next month. I have been trying to fall pregnant for over 10 months. could this be the reason why I am not pregnant? I am 39 years old and in reasonable health other the goiter creating problems with breathing, weightgain and muscle pain. i have heard of many people that have had this surgery and then have gotten pregnant straight away.
Thanks
Rosa

Hi Rosa.
The definite treatment of Multinodular goiter which is causing compression on trachea is only Thyroidectomy surgery and no medicines work.
IT is good that there is no hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism.
This is not at all related to pregnancy as your thyroid profile is normal, but who knows with God's grace you may ..
