Suggest Treatment For Mild To Moderate Ischemia In Left Ventricle

I had 3 vessel CABG 7 years ago. I m 73. my stress test just showed mild to moderate ischemia in left ventricle? I ve had no chest pain but had new rhythm problem Afib. My kidney test is 1.8 so they want to treat me with medicine and not do a cath. I feel fine. Is that probably ok?

Hi,
If you have only mild ischemia during stress test there is no need for intervention. Treatment with the medications will be the best option for you. In stable patients there is no difference in outcomes whether patients underwent intervention or received medications. Do not forget about healthy lifestyle!
