Suggest Treatment For Lymphoma In Elderly

MY FATHER (AGE 67 YR,HIGHT 160 CM WEIGHT 66 KG .(GHAZIABAD)
DURING FNAC TEST IN LOCAL LAB - DETECTED LYMPHOMA ON 12TH MAY. NOW NEXT DAY VISITED WITH HIM DELHI CANCER INSTITUTE DELHI.
THEY DID BLOOD TEST ,USG AND X RAY AND FNAC SLIDE REVIEW (RESULT AWAITED).
THEY SUGGESTED PET SCAN FROM OUTSIDE AND B M BIOPCY.
IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 12DAYS ~15 DAYS AS PET SCAN BOOKING AVIALABILITY. NOW WHAT I WILL DO ?
KINDLY SUGGEST LINE OF TREATMENT .TIME AND SHOULD I MOVE OTHER CANCER INSTITUE ??

Hello dear. Your father needs PET SCAN and a biopsy of the node to ascertain the diagnosis of lymphoma. More over further more test will be carried out on the biopsy material to look for the type of lymphoma. Only after that appropriate treatment can be planned. Treatment usually is chemotherapy and radiotherapy depending upon the stage. Lymphoma is curable even in advanced state but proper diagnosis is must. You can move out to any good institute.
