Suggest Treatment For Lump Near Xiphoid Process
I have a lump where my xiphoid process would be. It hurts to the touch and it seems to have enlarged in recent months. I originally thought it could ve been a strain from picking up my children. I am now sick with an upper respiratory infection and the pain will not subside. Any ideas on what this could be?

The symptoms can be related to a reactive lymph node. I suggest to do an ultrasound for further evaluation and to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.
