Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just got my CT result and I have mild grade I anterolisthesis of L4-L5 that slightly progress from last year. I do exercise almost every day with yoga ,strength and pilaates. I am 65 yo . Now for a few days I have ant/lat thigh pain that irradiate in lat surface down of leg . Which Dr I have to make appointment and how do I have to behave ? Thank you.
from your complaints I appears a case of sciatica pain cause due to irritation of nerve at the L4 - 5 level. The cause is the listhesis problem at that level. continue your yoga provided you have learnt it from an expert, moderate exercises will help such as walking. Oprthopedician is the doctor to consult. An MRI spine will help yo know current condition.
