Suggest Treatment For Knee Pain And Difficulty In Raising The Leg

I think my hip maybe out of alignment. It hurts to raise my left leg up and beginning to have some knee pain. also hurts to lay on my left side (hip). A friend had the same thing and went to a chiropractor and this fixed this problem. Could this be my problem also?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it is due to ligament injury or ligament tear.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Immobilize the affected leg for a few days.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedic and get evaluated. An MRI scan is required for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
