Suggest Treatment For Knee Joint Pain Due To Swelling And Fracture

my mom is suffers from severe knee joint pain. it is swollen and hot. she fell down couple of years ago and the mri shows fracture and on the whole her bones are very week too as suggested my doctor so what is your opinion and what best should be done about it

Hello,

I recommend bed rest, using local ice packs and taking NSAID for the pain (naproxen, etoricoxib, etc.). I recommend also checking Vitamin D and calcium plasma levels.
