Suggest Treatment For Knee Bursitis

I have bursitis in my knee and a doctor told me if it comes back I would need surgery and described what he would do. He said that they would make an incision down the front of my knee and remove the bursa and also scrape around the area. Could this procedure be done using arthroscopic surgery instead?

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
Bursa can't be removed arthroscopic and this is. it required at all since incision will be very small and it wont cause any serious consequences. It is better to have it removed completely and this us permanent solution then.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
