Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bedbug Bites All Over Body

I have very sensitive skin. I was at a hotel almost 8 weeks ago and woke up with severe bites and discovered bed bugs. I believe I had an extreme allergic reaction, I have taken antihistamine medicine, applied aloe, coconut oil, and a weak cortisol steroid I was prescribed for my mild eczema and sebhorric dermatitis. There has been scratching as well, which has resulted in a few open bumps and scarring. I haven t scratched in over 2 weeks. Sometimes they still itch a bit,but I have abstained from scratching, the bites are now drying, but they have yet to fully heal. What could be the problem... is my immune system weak? It has been 2 months my bites have improved but why haven t I fully healed?

Hello,

Is it possible that you are getting re-infected? Bed bugs are notoriously hard to get rid of and you may be getting new bites. Try putting Calamine lotion on the areas and see if that calms the inflammation down.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
