dear user

about your question i would like to tell you that these symptoms you mentioned refer mainly to have lung infection bacterial or viral or having gastrooesophageal reflux that lead to irritation of the throat as gastric acid reflux reach your throat and lead to consequences of throat irritation and cough..........your feeling of these symptoms should not make you worry as it is common problem.....about what to do that you should first refer to infectious disease or chest doctor to examine your throat and chest ........you may need to do x ray of chest to role out any lung problems...... you should be away from stress and anxiety andspicy foods because these will get symptoms worse.......you should also drink alot of warm fluids that will make you better ......you should also have bed rest and no effort that cause you be tired .....you can gargle your throat with saline as simply it helps to decontaminate your throat. ......you can use chlorohexidine or betadine mouth gargle as it is considered antiseptic for throat.....some times we require throat swab for investigation if symptoms get worse but now you not need that.......if bacterial infection suggested you will prescribed amoxicillin or erythromycin as it is antibiotic has great role in treatment of throat infection.............wish you healthy life
