Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation And Thickened Endometrium
Hi, Iam 46 years and my periods have become irregular for 3 months(every 21 days or less with continuous spotting ) .US showed thick endometrium (29 mm heterogeneous diffuse without focal lesions).I am scheduled for biopsy next week.what are the possibility of having endomaterial cancer .

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. The irregular spotting and bleeding along with thickened endometrium in perimenopausal group like yours is most likely due to dysfunctional uterine bleeding which is due to hormonal disturbances in endometrial lining.
It is a benign condition, but biopsy needs to be done to diagnose it.
Chances of endometrial cancer are very low, but biopsy will be confirmatory.
