Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation And Heavy Vaginal Bleeding
Hi, I am a nineteen year old female and I was wondering about my menstrual cycle. My periods are usually very irregular and tend to last up to a month of heavy bleeding. I get my period for a month then it would go away for two weeks then it would start again for another month. I have tried the contraceptive pill but this was unsuccessful. I was wondering is this something that I should be worried about?

Hello thank you for approaching HCM.I understand your concerns.
Irregular periods at the age of 19 could be due to polycystic ovarian syndrome,or hypothyroidism.
Get an ultrasound and check for any cysts on ovaries.
Get all the harmone levels and thyroid levels.
To prevent blood loss use Tab.tramic-mf thrice daily when you have excess blood loss.
Use an iron tablet .
