Suggest Treatment For Irregular Heart Beat
I'm 24 yrs old and my heart feels as though it stops and starts up again its really scary! and I suffer from palpations, I was in hospital and had an ecg and my heart was doing 200 hundred beats per min but the doctors said that it was a regular beat and the doctors sent me home. I'm still worried because my heart stops and restarts and it takes the breath of me! is this anything to be really worried about and if so is there any other tests I can go for? Oh I also had a 24 heart monitor but none of my symtoms happened whilst I was wearing it, and the test came back clear :(

You could have condition called as paroxysmal atrial fibrillation where your heart beat is fast and irregular. You mentioned you had 200 pulse even if it's regular it's not normal to have, and even if irregular heart beat at this high rate, it appears regular so difficult to whether it was regular or irregular at this heart rate.
I think if you had such high heart rate then you should have been on some medicine like beta blockers or cordarone. I think you may need electrophysiological studies which will diagnose as well as treat this condition. You should visit a cardiologist and discuss these issues with them.
