Suggest Treatment For Infection In The Ear And Pain In The Jaw

I have been to a ENT doctor last week I have an ear infection so bad it was swollen shut and the pain in my jaw was so bad. I have been on ear drop antiotbotics and Citroen for a week now. I now cannot swallow I had to spit the water out. My ear still hurts and now I can't swallow. Why

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you had a severe ear infection that has also lead to infection and swelling in throat as the middle are and throat are connected via Eustachian tube..
You should immediately consult an ENT surgeon and get evaluated and he can give injectable antibiotics, steroids and anti inflammatory painkillers to relieve the symptoms..
Surgical drainage of ears can be done..
It will be followed by a course of antibiotics, steroids and painkillers,,
You can also be administered intravenous fluids to prevent dehydration and maintain blood pressure and other vital signs..
