Suggest Treatment For Increased Size Of Spleen When Diagnosed With Saddle Pulmonary Embolism
yes please. I have had two major blood clots in the last three years, the latest being a saddle PE that nearly took my life. since then I am on xeralto and f/u ct scan showed increased size of my spleen and several lymph nodes in my abdomen with other stuff in the lungs(probably pieces of clots). Now my alk phos is low and my ast is low..........should I be concerned?
Hello dear welcome to HealthcareMagic Regarding your experience with 2 blood clot for the past 3yrs with a diagnosis of splenomegaly and saddle pulmonary embolism with associated low alkaline phosphatase and aspartate transaminase I am suggesting that you have possibly developed a liver cirrhosis which has led to development of the above complications
In view of this please do a an abdominal ultrasound and abdominal CT scan to rule out this liver disease
Meanwhile please see a cardiothoracic surgeon and hepatologist specialist for expert clinical assessment Councelling and possible surgical interventional procedures
Moreover you will benefit from the following treatments
