Suggest Treatment For Hot Flashes And Weight Gain After Discontinuing Climara Patch

I got off climara patch 4 weeks ago after 17 years of .50 or .25 since it was introduced. I had a bilateral lumpectomy 3 weeks ago and one lumpectomy 5 years ago. My Dr. wants me to stay off the patch. My hot flashes have come back and I ve gained probably 6 or 7 lbs. I am almost 71 years old. Any recommendations?

having hot flushes is the post menopausal symptom. it is usually occurs after menopause (permanent cessation of menses) due to the deficiency of estrogen in the body.
that's why this women are usually advised to take estrogen by any route like by orally, by injection or implant or by patch etc.

in my advice inspite of taking climara patch, u can take estrogen in form of pills by oral route along with calcium tablets.
