Suggest Treatment For Hodgkin's Lymphoma

hi my brother was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma 2 months ago and was told it was a curable cancer. he had all the tests done biopsy , scans blood work etc. the past month he developed bad cough and sore ribs and bad back pain and was taken to hospital 2 nites ago and was admitted. doctor came in today and told my mom that my brother has only 2 weeks to 2 months to live. we don't know if we should get a second opinion or what to do . he is 62 yrs old but has lots of life to live yet.how can a doctor tell u its curable then come 2 months later and give him his time to live .. please answer me back and thank u

Hello dear. Hodgkins lymphoma is a curable illness even if detected in last stage. There must be a mistake either in diagnosis either with the first doc or other. Please visit a cancer institute for appropriate diagnosis and management. Thanks
